Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market fell by INR 100/t d-o-d on 10 May’24, according to BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) prices were assessed at INR 39,200/t exy. Semi-finished steel prices fell by around INR 200/t in the region in yesterday’s trading session along with moderate trade activities in scrap prompted suppliers to reduce their offers today.
