Prices of shipbreaking melting scrap in Gujarat’s Alang market dropped INR 500/t day-over-day on 14 Jul’22. Prices for HMS (80:20) are assessed at INR 43,300/t exy. Yesterday, the semi-finished steel price in Mandi-Gobingarh decreased by INR 600/t d-o-d to settle at INR 53,900/t at the time of reporting and price normalization.
