Melting scrap prices gains by INR 200/t in Alang today on 23 Dec’21. The trade reference price of HMS (80:20) is assessed at 36,400/t exw, whereas attachment prices stand at 37,400/t exw. Improved market sentiments and better transactions in semi-finished steel results strengthened scrap offer today, sources shared.
