Melting scrap prices witnessed minor changes across key markets on 12 Nov’21. Prices in the north India-based markets remained firm following inadequate supply, especially in Mandi Gobindgarh, amidst slight uptick in semi-finished product prices. However, in the Jalna market in western India prices dropped on account of soft demand for finished steel. Scrap prices in most other markets remained stable on a day-on-day basis.
