Melting scrap prices witnessed a positive trend with rise in semi-finished steel prices in the key western and northern markets especially in Mandi Gobindgarh, as per SteelMint reports. However, in the central region-based Raipur and eastern-region based Durgapur markets, scrap prices cooled off on account of limited trade activities ahead of the Holi festival, source informed.
