Shipbreaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market decreased by INR 300/t d-o-d, as per SteelMint assessment. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 40,200/t exy. Semi-finished steel prices fell in the late hours of yesterday’s trading session and lack of trading activities in the region prompted suppliers to reduce their offers today.
