Melting scrap prices either witnessed a minor correction or remained stable across markets today, as per SteelMint assessment. In the northern region, most of the manufacturers are facing a shortage of melting scrap. In Alang’s shipbreaking yard, HMS prices fell INR 500/t today. In Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, the situation was more or less stable throughout the day.
