Shipbreaking melting scrap prices declined by INR 700/t d-o-d in Gujarat’s Alang, as per SteelMint assessment. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 43,000/t exy. Semi-finished steel prices fell in major markets yesterday amid limited trading activity at current price levels owing to weakening of sentiments across the region. This forced suppliers to reduce offers.
