Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market fell by INR 500/t d-o-d on 26 Sept, as per SteelMint assessment. Prices of HMS (80:20) are assessed at INR 41,000/t exy. Limited demand for semi-finished and finished steel in the Gujarat market weighed on the scrap prices.
