Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang decreased by INR 100/t d-o-d on 8 Dec’25. According to BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) prices are at INR 31,200/t ($346/t) ex-yard. Trade activities for semi-finished and finished steel products have slowed down in the region, as seen in the previous trading session. Average demand from the Bhavnagar-based IF mills prompted a reduction in offers today.
