Melting scrap prices saw a minor correction at key locations in the country on 30 April, as per SteelMint reports. Limited transactions in semi-finished steel and finished steel due to higher prices led to a marginal correction in scrap prices. However, in Chennai market, prices were slightly supported whereas in few other markets, it remained unchanged on usual procurement.
