Melting scrap prices saw a minor correction at key locations of the country on 7 Feb’22. The key factors behind the slight correction were limited finished steel movement due to high steel prices amidst moderate transactions in semi-finished steel. However, in the Chennai market in south India, scrap prices remained supported on tight supply.
