Melting scrap prices fell across major markets of India on 14 May 2022, as per SteelMint reports. Lack of buying enquiries for finished steel has exerted pressure on semi-finished steel prices, which ultimately impacted the scrap prices, while prices in a few other markets remained unchanged on a d-o-d basis. Steel grade pig iron prices declined in today’s auction by SAIL-RSP.
