Melting scrap prices in Alang moved down by INR 300/t today. After remaining stable for the last couple of days, suppliers reduced scrap prices due to dull buying enquiries and transactions in semi-finished steel. This impacted the procurement of melting scrap by the IF mills in Bhavnagar, sources shared.

- Attachment scrap: INR 40,200-40,400/t
