Domestic melting scrap prices fell by INR 200-400/t d-o-d, mainly in the northern region and in few major markets of western region (Gujarat) as well, amid high availability and decline in billet prices. However, in Jalna (Maharashtra), prices moved up by INR 100/t. Current trade price for HMS (80:20) is assessed at INR 23,800-24,100/t Jalna, INR 22,500-22,800/t Chennai (DAP).
