Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market decreased by INR 400/t d-o-d on 24 Jun’25. According to BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) prices stand at INR 31,700/t ($368/t) exy. Semi-finished and finished steel prices dropped by INR 400-600/t in the region due to limited trade activities. Moreover, average scrap trading activity prompted suppliers to reduce their offers today.
