India: Melting scrap price gains marginally by INR 200-300/t

Melting scrap prices continued its upward movement in most of the markets. Active trades in semi-finished steel (ingot/billet) trades across the regions supported scrap price hike. However in Mandi, Northern India, scrap prices fell by INR 100-300/t. Near-term prices are expected to remain supportive for a specific period following global trend, trade channels reported to SteelMint.
