India’s medium-carbon silico manganese prices (Mn: 53%, Si: 20%, C: 0.5% max) rose INR 1,400/t ($15/t) w-o-w to INR 84,300/t ($972/t) exw-Durgapur on 19 Jun’25. Indicative offers ranged between INR 83,000-84,500/t ($957-974/t), with a small deal for around 60 t concluded at INR 85,000/t ($980/t). The hike stems from supply shortages of manganese ore and rising high-grade imported ore prices, which have lifted production costs.
