Domestic medium-carbon silico manganese (Mn 53%, Si 20%, C max 0.5%) prices rose by INR 3,400/t ($36/t) w-o-w to INR 91,400/t ($981/t) ex-works Durgapur on 2 April 2026. The increase was driven by rising imported ore prices and higher overall production costs. Market offers were reported in the range of INR 90,200-91,900/t ($968-986/t), while transactions for around 650 t were concluded at INR 91,000-92,500/t ($976-993/t).
