Medium-carbon silico manganese (Mn 53%, Si 20%, C max 0.5%) prices in India edged up by INR 250/t ($2/t) w-o-w to INR 82,750/t ($932/t) exw-Durgapur as of 2 Oct’25. Prices improved primarily due to a rise in high-grade manganese ore prices, driven by tight global supply and strong Chinese demand. Offers ranged between INR 82,500-83,500/t ($929-941/t), with a deal for 108 t concluded at INR 82,500/t ($930/t).
