Medium-carbon silico manganese (Mn 53%, Si 20%, C max 0.5%) prices edged down by INR 300/t ($3/t) w-o-w to INR 85,800/t ($933/t) exw-Durgapur on 12 Mar’26. Prices declined slightly as discounted deals emerged amid cautious sentiment, while higher ocean freight and insurance costs reduced export inquiries. Offers were reported in between INR 85,300-86,200/t, with a 7,000 t deal done at INR 85,500/t ($929/t).
