India’s medium-carbon silico manganese prices (Mn: 53%, Si: 20%, C: 0.5% max) edged up by INR 200/t ($2/t) w-o-w to INR 84,000/t ($960/t) exw-Durgapur on 31 Jul’25. Indicative offers ranged between INR 83,000-85,500/t ($948-977/t), with a deal of around 2,000 t concluded at INR 84,700/t ($968/t). The increase was driven by costlier high-grade imported manganese ore and limited availability due to strategically reduced production.
