India: MCL to conduct 2.3 mnt coal auction on 26 Sept

Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL), the biggest subsidiary of Coal India, will conduct an auction for 2.3 mnt of coal on 26 Sep’22. Non-coking grades offered in the auctions are G8, G12, G13 and G14. It is to be noted that G12 and G13 constitute 69% of the total offering while coal from Garjanbahal OCP and Kulda OCP mines are at 0.35 mnt each.
