Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) is in advanced stages to set up its IB valley washery in Lakhanpur, Odisha with expected washed coal production of 7.85 mnt per annum. The indicative price of washed coal with 33.5% ash would be INR 2,400/t. All power plants having fuel supply agreement (FSA) with MCL can communicate their procurement interest to the company.
