India: MCL achieves highest ever coal production in fiscal on 19 Feb’23

Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), the largest coal producing subsidiary of Coal India, has achieved highest ever coal production of 168.61 mnt in a financial year on 19 Feb’23. The previous record was 168.17 mnt in FY22. Notably, the miner’s production has grown 16% y-o-y, with 40 more days of production left in FY23.
