India: Maruti to return to normal production schedule in Oct-Nov’21

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) has released revised schedules to vendors for rest of the festival season.

• The company aims to go back to normal production of 1.8 lakh units in Oct’21.
• MSIL aims to produce 1.6 lakh units in Nov.
• As per company statement, MSIL would recover lost volumes in the next 3-4 months.
• Total production volume in Sep could be around 40% of normal output.
