- India’s manganese ore imports increased by 17% m-o-m to 0.623 mnt in Mar’22 from 0.532 mnt in Feb’22.
- This increase was led by panic buying, after observing the continuous increase in manganese ore prices on a monthly basis.
- Major exporters in March were South Africa (0.336 mn t), followed by Gabon, Australia, and Zambia.
