NTPC, a public sector company wholly owned by Government of India, is the largest thermal power generating company of the country, with an installed capacity over 43,039 MW. NTPC has floated four tenders for procurement of 7 MnT imported Coal in June, 2014 which is as follows:
- 1.55 MnT imported Coal for Dadri, Sipat & Mauda Power plant before 05 Jun, 2014
- 2.05 MnT imported Coal for Simhardi & Ramagundam Power plant before 05 Jun, 2014
- 2.25 MnT imported Coal for Talcher, Farakka, Kahalgaon & Barh Power plant before 05 Jun, 2014
- 1.15 MnT imported Coal for Rihand & Vidhyanchal Power plant before 05 Jun, 2014
