India’s leading tubes producer has raised pipe prices by INR 2,000/t ($26/t) to INR 76,000/t ($992/t) FOR Chhattisgarh effective 14 Mar’22, the second hike by the company for March deliveries. The current offer for base grade (25-125 NB, 2.2-6 mm thickness) material is at INR 78,250/t exy-Mumbai and INR 78,000/t exy-Delhi. Prices rose on high raw material costs. “There is possibility of a further price hike of INR 2,000/t,” a Delhi-based distributor informed.
