India: Major Structure Manufacturers keep Prices Stable

Central India’s Structure prices remain unchanged. Demand for the material in local market slightly improves.

Structure prices in major Indian cities are unchanged. Mumbai and Raipur offers remain firm from a week long time. While, Durgapur’s offers registered INR 100/MT fall in start of the week but, after that prices are constant. Hyderabad’s Structure prices increased during the week. However, Structure prices of Ahmedabad fell by INR 200-300/MT.

Raipur based a well known trader confirm that “demand shows increment. Bookings are their but in small quantity which possibly increased in coming days”.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad based manufacturers pushed up prices. Increased ingot offers are main cause of price hike in Structure.  Angle 40 mm offered at INR 34,000/MT after falling by INR 500/MT. After that, demand is not indicated any sign of improvement.

Durgapur: Traders from Durgapur says “Demand is average in local market but outer demand is start increasing slightly.” 40 and 50 mm Angle traded at INR 32,800/MT.

Ghaziabad: Ghaziabad’s Structure prices move up by INR 200/MT in a week’s time. Shortage of raw material such as Scrap mainly affected prices. I-Beam 150 mm offered at INR 35,600/MT.

Ahmedabad: After strike open in Gujarat prices slightly fall but demand is stable. Offers fell by INR 300/MT and Channel 75 mm available at INR 33,400/MT.

Market participant expect market to improve in coming days as demand already shows improvement in some part of India.
