A major eastern India-based steel manufacturer, specialising in ERW pipes, has increased list prices by approximately INR 2,000/t ($23/t) m-o-m for early-Feb’25 sales. Post revision, prices of base grade ERW pipes (25-125 NB, 2.2-6 mm thickness) were effectively at INR 60,000/t ($689/t) ex-Jharkhand, excluding GST at 18%. The company increased its prices amid hikes in competitors’ offers and rising raw material costs.
