India: Mahindra & Mahindra reports 10.3% y-o-y decline in sales in Dec’20

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (M&M), has reported total auto sales (including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and exports) at 35,187 units in Dec ’20, a decline of 10.3% y-o-y against 39,230 units in Dec’19. The company sold 16,795 commercial vehicles in the domestic market in Dec ’20, down 21.1% y-o-y. Overall passenger vehicle sales were up 3% at 16,182 units while exports increased by 3% y-o-y to 2,210 units. The overall sales have been affected due to the continuous disruption in the supply chain. However, the demand continues to remain strong in the New Year.
