Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. (MCL) has achieved coal production of 200 mnt thus far in FY’24. MCL has exceed the target of 163 mnt for this fiscal and set a new milestone. MCL’s mining operations span Odisha’s Angul, Jharsuguda and Sundergarh districts. The CIL subsidiary had attained the 100-mnt production mark in FY’10, while 150 mnt output was achieved in FY’22.
