Multiple auctions for old LPG cylinder scrap were held in the last week of July across various locations in India. Around 185 t was sold at INR 45,500/t exw in Bhatinda, Punjab, and at INR 46,800/t exw from Jalandhar. The auctions received active response due to scrap shortage in the domestic market.
