Odisha-Prices of fines (Fe 57%) is currently at INR 800/MT and a miner based in Joda is offering low grade iron ore fines ( Fe 58%) at INR 850/MT. (Prices mentioned are ex-mines & inclusive of Royalty).
Karnataka-Iron ore fines prices in Karnataka iron ore e-auctions have witnessed a fall on a monthly basis. NMDC (Fe 59.4%) fines were around INR 990/MT in Sept’15 which have fallen to INR 800/MT. On similar lines, private miners fines (Fe 58.7%) has fallen from INR 960/MT to INR 910/MT. (Prices are basic & weighted average)
Goa-In order to fetch good response from the bidders, Goa DMG had reduced base prices in Sept’15 e-auctions. Fines (Fe 59%) which were around INR 1,110/MT in previous e-auctions were sold at INR 880/MT in Sept’15 auctions. In Oct’15 no e-auctions have been conducted yet. (Prices are basic & average)
