India: Llyod Metals commences first rail rake iron ore dispatches from Surjagad mines

Indian Railways has started loading iron ore from Surjagad mines in Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra. As per reports, on 2 March, the first rail rake of the raw material was loaded by Lloyd Metals at Ballarshah, located in Chandrapur district to be dispatched for Pen in Raigad district in Mumbai division. In times to come, this step could spur faster industrial development in the area, said Krishnath Patil, Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, Nagpur Division.
