India: Leading stainless steel manufacturer raises coil prices on cost pressures

India’s leading stainless steel coil manufacturer has announced a price increase, effective 22 Jan, driven by global market cues, a depreciating rupee, and rising costs of raw materials — nickel and copper. Revisions are as follows:

• 304 HR and CR coils: +INR 2,500/t
• 316 grade HR and CR coils: +INR 4,000/t
• 430 grade HR and CR coils: + INR 1,500/t
• 204cu grades: +INR 2,000/t
• Other 400 series grades: +INR 1,000/t
