KSMCL held an auction for 188,000 t of iron ore from its Subbrayanahalli mines in Bellary, Karnataka, on 28 Aug’24. As per sources, the entire lot of lumps was booked at INR 4,544-4,564/t against the base price of INR 4,434/t, and 68,000 t of fines (Fe 63.06-63.22%) were booked at the base price of INR 4,190-4,200/t. Prices are on an ex-mines basis, excluding royalty, DMF, and NMET.
