KSMCL had an auction for 20,000 t of iron ore lumps and 184,000 t of iron ore fines from its Subbrayanahalli mines in Bellary, Karnataka on 17 Aug’24. As per sources, 4,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 64.13%)and 12,000 t fines (Fe 63.06-63.23%) got booked at the floor price of INR 4,667/t and INR 4,410-4,421/t, respectively. Prices are on ex-mines basis, excluding royalty, DMF and NMET.
