The tender documents for five iron ore mines in Karnataka will be available from 18 January 2023 to 23 February 2023.
These are important auctions for the state government, coming as they do after the centre removed an export duty of 50% on iron ore and 45% on pellets, and the Supreme Court allowed miners in Karnataka to enter into direct sales.
The submission of technical bids along with an initial price offer can be made through the MSTC Ltd website by 5 pm of 27 February 2023. The physical copies of the same must reach the Director, Department of Mines and Geology, Government of Karnataka by the same time.
