Domestic mill scale prices in Kandla rallied by INR 500-700/t this week on active export enquiries, SteelMint learnt from sources. Market participants are holding offers firm in the domestic market. However, for exports, price realisations are at around INR 10,200-10,300/t on FoB basis. As per latest reports:
- Domestic mill scale is assessed at INR 8,500-8,600/t DAP Kandla, higher by INR 600/t on week.
- The current assessment for Fe 70/68% grade material stands at INR 8,000-8,100/t exw Raipur, up by INR 50/t w-o-w.
- A deal for around 1,500 t has been heard in the range of INR 8,100-8,300/t exw Raipur.
