JSW , India’s No. 3 producer of the alloy, has raised product prices by 3 per cent across the board, effective October 1, a company source said on Friday.
It will be in the range of Rs 800-1,500 a tonne across products, the official who declined to be identified, said.
“Rising is definitely a reason. Iron ore availability is an issue here,” he said, adding from and was also strong.
