Steel major JSW Steel has scheduled an auction for 900,600 t of iron ore fines (Fe 55-58%) on 8 Mar’22. The material is from the Jajang mines in Odisha. The base price is set at INR 2,000/t ex-mines. At JSW’s previous iron ore (Fe 54%) auction, 296,250 t out of the total 833,450 t was booked at INR 1,250/t ex-mines including royalty, DMF and NMET.
