JSW Steel has scheduled an auction for 23,700 t of Fe 55%-Fe 58% iron ore fines on 8 Sept’21. The company is using the MSTC platform (a government undertaking) to conduct the e-auction from its Jajang mine in Odisha’s Keonjhar district. The steelmaker is keeping the floor price for the auction at INR 1,500/t (including royalty, DMF and NMET). Its previous auction held on 25 Aug fetched bids for two lots (each comprising 3,950 t) at the base price of INR 2,000/t ex-mines (including royalty, DMF and NMET).
