Steel major JSW Steel has recorded highest-ever monthly crude steel production at 1.891 mnt in Jan’23. The volumes were higher by 15% compared to 1.646 mnt in Jan’22. Production of flat rolled steel stood at 1.424 mnt and long rolled steel at 425,000 t, both up 14% y-o-y last month. The company’s capacity utilisation reached 99% in Jan’23 with expansion at Dolvi works.
