Steel major JSW Steel Limited has announced an increase of INR 2,000/t in its galvanised plain coil (GPC) list prices for mid-Jan’22 despatches. The effective price, after revision, of galvanised coil (0.8mm, 80gsm*) stands at INR 73,000-74,000/t exy-Mumbai. Other steel majors may follow suit in raising prices on rising raw material costs, SteelMint learnt from sources.
*Correction- The price mentioned is for 80gsm, previously mentioned as 120gsm.
