India: JSW Steel hikes long steel prices by up to INR 3,000/t ($36/t) for early-Jan’23

JSW Steel has increased rebar list prices by INR 3,000/t ($36/t) and wire rod prices by INR 2,000/t ($24/t) for early-Jan’23 sales, sources informed SteelMint. Post revision, effective prices are-

• Rebar (12-32mm, IS 1786): INR 59,500-60,000/t ($719-725/t), exy-Mumbai.
• Wire rods (5.5-6mm, SAE1006): INR 57,500/t ($694/t), landed Mumbai.
• Prices are excluding GST at 18%.
