India: JSW Steel hikes long steel prices by INR 1,000/t ($12/t) for early Jan’25

JSW Steel has increased prices of long steel products by INR 1,000/t ($12/t) for early-Jan’25 sales, sources informed BigMint. Post-revision, prices were as follows:

• Rebar (12-32mm, IS1786): INR 52,500-53,000/t ($612-618/t)
• Wire rod (5.5-6mm, SAE1008): INR 54,500-55,000/t ($635-641/t)

Prices are landed Mumbai basis, excluding GST at 18%.
