JSW Ispat Special Steel Products (formerly Monnet Ispat & Energy) has decided to transfer the manufacturing facilities at Raipur via a slump sale of INR 450 crores to a wholly-owned subsidiary, Mivaan Steels (MSL). The steel plant comprises of 0.3 mtpa sponge iron plant, a ferro alloy and steelmaking plant with a capacity of 0.25 mtpa.
The sale is subject to approval of National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in Chhatisgarh.
