India: JSP’s steel sales rise by 14% y-o-y in Q1FY’25

Jindal Steel & Power’s (JSP’s) steel sales rose by 14% y-o-y to 2.09 mnt in Q1FY’25 against 1.84 mnt in Q1FY’24. On q-o-q basis, sales increased 4% from 2.01 mnt in Q4FY’24. Steel production remained largely flat on q-o-q and y-o-y basis at 2.05 mnt in Q1FY’25. The company has reported EBITDA of INR 2,831 crores during the quarter, up 5% from INR 2,704 crores in the CPLY. The same rose 13% q-o-q from INR 2,512 crores in Q4FY’24.
